The Secretary position for SVACS has become available for 2022. Gain valuable leadership skills, work with amazing colleagues, get a birds-eye view of SVACS activities, and make an impact on the local chemistry community by filling this important leadership role. Primary responsibilities include:
- Attending monthly ExComm meetings as a voting member and recording the minutes
- Submitting the section’s annual report to ACS National – primarily a collation of contributed committee reports
- Conducting yearly elections by working with a contracted external electronic voting service
